Primavera P6 Project Controls: Gul Ahmed DCM Factory 01, 8.26 MW Solar PV

Fluxiss delivered the Primavera P6 schedule for Gul Ahmed DCM Factory 01, an 8.26 MW rooftop solar PV project running from November 2024 to May 2025. The schedule covers all project phases with a full activity hierarchy, baseline durations, actual start and finish dates, and percentage completion tracked against the BL1 baseline.

Ahead of Baseline, and Provably So

At the schedule update, the project stood at 42.94% complete against a BL1 target of 35.22%, ahead-of-baseline progress on the critical paths. That is the point of activity-level project controls: progress claims are measured, not asserted.

What the Schedule Tracked

• Contract and payment milestones: LC established, advance payment and NTP, 100% complete
• Imported procurement: PV modules, inverter, and monitoring devices (100-day cycles) and DC cables (75 days), all 100% complete
• Engineering design and approval cycles for mechanical and electrical submittals, 100% complete
• Local procurement: structure, staircase, pathway, electrical, cables, transformers, VCB, SCADA, weather station, and termination kits, 100% complete
• Shell roof structure 4076kW-1 at 53.42% complete against a 46.35% baseline
• Execution and monitoring & controlling at 42.27% against a 33.50% baseline
• Ongoing at data date: panel installation, cable pulling, and testing and commissioning

With structural analysis, drawings, SLD production, panel placement, walkway layout, and civil foundations closed out at 100%, the schedule gave the owner a single, defensible picture of exactly where the project stood, and where the remaining risk sat, through to the projected finish of 20 May 2025.
